SYNOPSIS
While Song of My Heart is the second installment of the Raising the Crown series, this novel travels back in time to show how Vince Palladino and Camila Juric’s forbidden love story began. Amid his promising rise to fame in the entertainment industry, Vince sneaks away from his family while on vacation, and he meets Camila. Little does he know, she’s a princess of a country at war with his own culture, and once Camila’s king learns of who Vince is, he quickly prohibits their budding relationship. Despite her king’s orders, Camila secretly falls deeper in love with Vince. As they mature into adults, Camila realizes she must confront a tough decision: deny her love for Vince and fulfill her role as the heir to the Xudian throne, or choose love and give up her birthright to the crown. Meanwhile, Vince faces his mother’s hatred of Camila’s culture, which he doesn’t understand. Despite this, he maintains his relationship with Camila until she decides their future together. What will it be, and how will they handle it?
